Baby White's Medical Relief Fund

At their 20 week anatomy scan, the doctors informed Mara & DJ of some disheartening news about Baby White.

They found an abdominal hernia (Omphalocele) with the intestines and liver protruding into the hernia, which will cause complications after birth. Along with the Omphalocele, Dr's have suspected possible esophageal atresia due to inability to find a clear photo of his stomach. After multiple ultrasounds and MRI's, Dr's are still unclear and preparing for 2 possible surgeries at the time of birth. Because of this, the Whites will be traveling to San Diego every week for medical appointments. After birth, baby White will be transferred immediately to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego for surgery. It is unclear how long baby White will be a Rady's NICU. Ultimately, it will be dependent at the time of birth and the evaluation done by the pediatric surgeon. This stay can be 1 - 6 months.

We’ve created this fund to come together as their community to support , pray, and love on them during the unknown.
