Baby Waylen the fighter

Hi, my name is Karen Hart Taylor, my 33 yr. old niece Stephanie Eubanks lost her 34 yr. old husband of 4 years 3 months ago! She was pregnant with their first child, after trying for 3 years to get pregnant. She was in and out of hospitals for a month with her husband before losing him. The stress put her in premature labor. She was put on bed rest, but that was impossible, due to her husband's situation. Two weeks after he passed her water broke and she went into labor. Baby Waylen was born weighing 4 lbs. He was immediately taken to the NIC unit. Waylen had many complications and the journey changes daily. When his momma, Stephanie was finally able to meet her son, she noticed he had signs of being incredibly special. After she requested testing, the results showed he was a special Down Syndrome baby!!! He is now 2 months old and is awaiting heart surgery. He has never come home from the hospital due to complications and his weight. We are praying and waiting for a bed at LeBonheur Hospital where the surgery will be done. The road will be hard and stressful. But Stephanie is trying so hard. She had to go back to work to support herself and baby Waylen. She travels over an hour daily, sometimes twice a day, to see and/or try to feed baby Waylen. I am asking you to donate what your heart desires and will allow. My goal is to raise enough money to pay her bills for the first year. The first year will be very intense and he will need her attention 24 hrs. a day to monitor him while taking care of him.
