Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Shar and her sweet baby boy, Walker, who made his arrival into this world much earlier than expected.

Walker was born on May 30th, far too early, and has been fighting every day in the NICU since then. He is now at Children’s Hospital, continuing to receive the specialized care he needs as he struggles with challenges in his development. Every day is a step forward for him, and he’s showing just how strong and brave he is.

As you can imagine, this journey has been incredibly hard on Shar and her family — emotionally, physically, and financially. The costs of the hospital stay alone are overwhelming, and on top of that, the expenses for gas driving back and forth, as well as hotel stays near the hospital so she can be by her baby’s side, are really adding up.

We want her to be able to focus all of her energy on her little boy’s recovery without the constant worry about how to cover these mounting costs.

If you are able to contribute anything — no amount is too small — it would mean so much to our family. Every donation helps ease the burden and allows Shar to stay close to her son during this critical time.
