Baby Violet’s Journey
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my niece Jazmyn was told at 21 weeks that her baby was very small and had issues with the placenta.
After travelling to UCLH in London 1-3 times a week for over 2 months to be constantly monitored, she was told the news her baby would be delivered no later than 31weeks.
By 30 weeks the blood flow became dangerous and Jazmyn was admitted for her c section.
Little Violet was born at 30 weeks weighting a tiny 2lb 2oz
Violet is doing well and is in the amazing NICU at UCLH, the whole staff have been amazing and supportive through out.
UCLH do not have facilities for Mum and Dads to stay at the hospital so they will need to travel into London each day.
Jazmyn and Leon will need be there every day to be with Violet and to provide Breast milk, skin on skin contact and love to ensure she gets the best chance at a thriving long life ❤️
As you can imagine, trains are very expensive and any help towards their daily train fair, or if we get enough, a hotel to stay near by Violet as much as possible, would be amazing. Due to Jazmyns C-section, mobility is also an issue, which is why we would like to help her and Leon with finances towards trains/accommodation in anyway possible. The stress and worry they have currently, we just want to help them both with anything we or anyone can.
On behalf of Jazmyn and Leon and our whole family, we thank you for taking the time to read our family’s journey and thank you all for any contributions no matter what value ❤️
