Baby Trevor's Liver Fund

3 months ago on one of the happiest days of their lives, Scott and Janine Pate gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy. Just like most babies, baby Trevor was born with a little jaundice and was sent home 3 days after his arrival into this world. Only 3 months later baby Trevor was still jaundice, so after some blood work his Ruben count was through the roof at over 900. The next day his parents received the most horrifying call any parent could ever get to drop everything and bring him to the Birmingham children's hospital. There, they discovered that the artery that connects the liver to the gallbladder that processes and filters the feces and toxic waste in your body was blocked. Last week baby Trevor underwent a 4 hour procedure only to find that the liver was to damaged and he will still need a liver transplant. Mom, dad, and family are being tested to see if they are a match. They are not rich and live paycheck to paycheck. Moma needs to stay with baby while daddy travels back and forth trying to maintain the bills and support his wife and children. They also have another young son Trenton and hospital bills piling up.
