Baby Tobias Okey- Born Sleeping
Donation protected
I am reaching out to everyone in the attempt to support my Bestfriend Jordan, her Fiancé Scott and their 3 beautiful children.
It was a shock to learn that Jordan, who’s passion and livelihood is looking after children, making them smile and making a positive impact in their lives and her fiancé Scott were expecting their 4th bundle of joy, which to their surprise was already 28 weeks along!
Their 3 children were over the moon and their son was so ecstatic to find out he was finally going to have a baby brother after having two sisters!
Once they had wrapped their heads around this exciting news, we excitedly went out shopping and started buying and gathering everything they may need knowing they were already 3/4 of the way through the pregnancy and their beautiful baby boy would be here within a matter of 3 months or less!
Then came the heartbreaking news no parent ever wants to receive, scan after scan it was confirmed that their beautiful baby boy who they had decided to name Tobias (Toby) had grown and developed multiple severe brain injuries in utero. There was unfortunately absolutely nothing they or the medical professionals could do, this was not caused by anything throughout the pregnancy it was just an unfortunate hand that had been dealt.
They had an extremely hard decision to make which broke their hearts! After many sleepless nights, tears, scans, medical opinions, tests and meetings they were forced to come to the hard conclusion that they would have to say goodbye to their baby boy at 35 weeks and 3 days along so that he didn’t suffer or feel any pain.
This is such an emotional and heartbreaking time for their beautiful family and all those around them. Due to these circumstances Jordan had to stop working early and Scott is taking time off so that they can support each other through this time. They want to have the opportunity to be able to grieve together and both process what has happened to their beautiful little family.
They have had to deal with so much these past 2 months already. I am asking if you can also support them and help them through this time by contributing anything you could afford, even something small to ease a financial burden on top of the stress’s they are already going through it would be so greatly appreciated and mean the absolute world to them.
Any contributions made will go towards allowing them time off work to be home together to process and grieve with each others support as well as go towards cremating their baby boy and the memorial costs.
Thank you for reading this far, if you can’t afford to contribute yourself then please also share this link so that they have the best chance at being able to not have to deal with a financial burden on top of everything else
