Baby the cat!
Donation protected
I’m fostering sweet Baby from the Brooklyn Cat Cafe (she’s my 24th foster in the last 4 years!). She was first surrendered to the ACC because her previous owner had 9 cats, Baby was pregnant, and they couldn’t take care of her.
It took a lot of time to convince her to trust humans again after all that moving around, but she’s learning to love laps again :)
Here’s the thing: Baby is having trouble breathing because of a suspected polyp, a benign mass. She has also been diagnosed with dental disease. (Plus, she’s FIV+, but cats can live a long time with that!) Because these things are not fatal/immediate needs, the Cat Cafe isn’t able to pay for her care and they’re waiting for an adopter to help pay.
But, it’s so heartbreaking to hear her labored breathing, and I want to get her the care she needs so she can live a pain-free life now. I’m hoping to raise enough to cover treatment for both - an estimated $1,050 to treat the dental disease, and $1,000 to treat the polyp. (If the treatment ends up being less, any remaining money would be donated to the Cat Cafe.) Any amount you can give would be so appreciated!
Thank you for helping Baby!
