Baby Tatum has Hirschsprung’s Disease

My sweet grandson Tatum, the son of Chelsea and Shay Steinbeisser, was born on December 31st. He was flown to St. V’s Hospital in Billings a couple of days later. He has been diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s Disease which means a portion of his large intestine or possibly his entire large intestine does not function. Surgery in Salt Lake City will take place when he is between 2 to 4 months old. Until then, he will be staying in the NICU at St. V’s unless he becomes able to keep milk down and gain weight. If and when he is able to do that, we will be able to take him home to care for him until surgery. That is what we are praying for. We are asking for help with travel and medical costs. This will be a long process and even after his surgery, there will be continual hospital visits and yearly checkups in Salt Lake City. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Thank you from all of us. Please pray for our little man. ♥️
