Hi, my name is Jakki and I’m raising funds to help support a beautiful family i know- Tyler, Scott and their 3 boys Jaylan, Maverick & Tanner through a stressful time ahead.

On the 18th of June 24 before Tanner had come into the world Tyler and Scott found out Tanner had a hole in his heart. Doctor's thought this

hole was trilogy of Fallot. Once Tanner was born the specialists were able to do a ultrasound on Tanner and revealed he had a VSD Ventricular Septal Defect.

Little Tanner hasn’t had it easy from the start, the doctor's prepared the family for him to come out blue and to be rushed for surgery straight away BUT he came out perfect even the drs were shocked.

He then developed jaundice. They were in and out of hospital multiple times with that. As a result Tanner fails to thrive leading them back to Brisbane Children’s Hospital where we then had to start Nasal Gastric tube feeding.

Since Tanner was born 25/06/24, they have been travelling back and forth to Brisbane Children’s Hospital for his many appointments. Some weeks they would have have multiple appointment's to attend.

Tanner is now booked in on the 13/12/24 just 1 week and 5 days before Christmas for his open heart surgery, Surgery is 6-8hrs and includes cardiopulmonary bypass and VSD closure.

Surgeons say if everything goes well they could be home in 10 days but recovery is usually 2-6 weeks.

The family has been hit hard with the news of tanner needing heart surgery especially with Christmas around the corner. They are supposed to be have a jolly good time but instead they are stressing about their happy little baby.
