We have now reached our goal! Baby Swinton

We have reached our goal through e-transfers and GoFundMe.  Thank you all so very much. 

Hi, we are Miranda and Jonah Swinton. We are asking for your financial help to get us to Toronto for life changing surgery for our unborn son.

We went to a routine 20 week ultrasound and found out our little boy has Spina Bifida. For those who don’t know, Spina Bifida has three forms. Our son has the worst form where his spinal cord is bulged out of his spinal column. Due to this, the cord is pulled tight and affecting his brain and head shape. It looks like the bulge is located at his L4-S1 vertebrae. At this time he has movement in his feet, which is a blessing. This in utero surgery will give our little boy a chance at a next to typical life. Without the need for a wheelchair or potentially any walking aid at all. Not to mention relieving the tight pull on his brain.

Alberta will cover our flights, but that’s it. We must pay for accommodations/ rental car and food our selfs for a whole month. Miranda is a stay at home mom of a 21 month old girl and Jonah is an apprentice, so money is already tight.

Anything you can contribute will be a blessing to us. As well as your continued prayers. We believe God is in control and will provide as he always dose, for he is faithful.
