My name is Tierney Morlan & I am a long time friend of Katlyn Taylor. I have started this GOFUNDME to help cover the cost of funeral expenses & day to day living expenses for Katlyn & Jerry as they grieve their tiny baby boy Spencer.

Spencer Ray Rice was born on 2-22-2022. He was a fighter from the very beginning. Baby Spencer was born with CHD & pulmonary atresia. In his short little life he had undergone 10+ surgeries including a tracheostomy. Within that Spencey had arrested 3 times & pulled through. He was given a release date of September 7th 2022 after showing miraculous signs of healing.

His grandma & aunts had even put together the most beautiful nursery for him to come home to.

Unfortunately, on 8-19-2022, baby Spencer arrested again, this time the code lasted much longer requiring more than an hour of resuscitation. He was put on life support & later his parents would find out he was completely brain dead.

They then had to make the most gut wrenching decision of their lives & as a family they decided to remove sweet baby Spencer from life support.

Wrapped in his mother’s arms, skin to skin, face to face, surrounded by family - Spencer Ray Rice left this world.
