Baby Smith IVF Puzzle Fundraiser

This is a massive step but what can we say, we so badly want to be parents! We started our journey to become parents in 2020. After unsuccessfully conceiving on our own, we sought out a fertility doctor. After 5 failed medicated cycles, we decided to take a break. Last year we found out we were pregnant, naturally! We were so excited and over the moon. Unfortunately, we lost our baby boy. After meeting with our Reproductive Endocrinologist at Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine, we decided IVF may be our best chance at our rainbow baby.

IVF has the highest conception rates, but the average cost is $20,000-30,000. Thankfully our insurance covers some of the fertility costs, giving us a chance to afford this fertility treatment. Although some treatment is covered, some of it is not. As hard it is for us, we feel it’s time to ask for help with the remaining expenses.

Since we would like to include all of you in our journey, we would like to extend that even further- We have bought a 500-piece puzzle and are selling pieces of it for $10. You can buy 1, 2 or 10 pieces. For every person that donates, we will write your name on a puzzle piece. If you purchase 5 pieces ($50), we would love for you to leave a note which will be written on those pieces along with your name. This puzzle will be framed and hung in the nursery so we can always remember the people that helped us build our family.

We are hopeful to start the IVF process in February or March of 2024.
