Imagine welcoming a healthy baby boy into the world, only to have his life turned upside down within 24 hours. That's the heartbreaking reality my dear friends, Brittany and Ryan are facing with their newborn son, Shane River Ennis.

Born this Saturday 1/20/24, Shane seemed perfect until unusual seizure-like activity emerged a day later. After being Rushed to Children’s hospital, they received the devastating news that Shane had suffered a massive stroke, severely damaging the left side of his brain. Doctors predicted that based off how his scans looked compared with babies who have similar injuries, Shane will likely face cerebral palsy, with the severity unknown.

Despite the shock, confusion and grief, Brittany and Ryan are still filled with unwavering hope and faith that God can help heal Shane’s brain injury. They've witnessed miracles with their son Colgan, and now they're praying for another one for Shane.

However, regardless of the outcome, they're determined to give him the best life possible and raise him to never see his diagnosis as a disability.

This is where you come in!

The road ahead will be challenging.

Aside the need of extensive medical care, therapy, and possibly specialized equipment, the financial burden, on top of Ryan's ongoing cancer treatment, can be overwhelming.

That's why we're raising funds to support Brittany and Ryan through this difficult journey as EVERY DOLLAR will help them:

• Cover medical expenses: doctor appointments, early intervention services, specialized equipment.

• Ease the burden of travel and food: gas and groceries are a killer to anyone these days so any funds can help ensure that they can focus on Shane's care.

• Reduce financial stress: helping them to not worry so much about where money will be coming from and allowing them to be together as a family while Shane, Brittany recover and Ryan gets treatment.
