Baby Savoie Battle with CPAM

Hi, my name is David White, and I am fundraising for my neice, Madison Savoie, to help to cover travel expenses related to medical care required for the unborn baby girl - due on May 10, 2025.

Their doctor recently discovered cysts on the baby’s lungs and she has been diagnosed with CPAM.

This will require that my neice travel from Lafleche to Regina (400 km round trip) every two weeks until at least 32 weeks gestation. Once born, the baby will require surgery, and spend time in NICU, which will require more trips and overnight stays in Regina.

Through surgery, the prognosis is good for baby, ( as long as she does not develop hydrops) - but baby is going to have a tough entry into the world, and the family does not have the financial ability to cover all of the extra travel and special aids (formula,etc) on their own.
