Baby Sam's Heart Journey

Baby Sam and the McGaugh family needs you!
If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Lauren or Jacob McGaugh, you'd know the blessing of a new friendship. Always welcoming and never meeting a stranger Jacob and Lauren have created such a fantastic family. With 5 great kids already, they were destined to give the world one more Mcgaugh baby.
And that happened...
Ecstatic with joy and love, Lauren found out she was due with another blessing in September of 2020. Everything was fantastic until the news hit. The doctors explained something didn't look quite right and Lauren needed a few more scans to get a better view at Baby Sam.
The new scans, unfortunately, showed the bad news. Baby Sam has a few hurdles to overcome. His heart isn't growing as it should. He also has a host of other medical complications he has to compete with. But if Baby Sam is anything like the rest of the family, he's tough, he's a fighter.
As Jacob and Lauren settled in with the news and prepared to deliver close to home in Jackson, Ms, last minute they were told the pediatric operating room wouldn't be available due to the fact that Sam's case is such a critical one and that they would need to find a hospital better suited for these types of diagnosis to perform the operation. Jacob was quick to research and found they had 2 choices Boston & Philadelphia. Both prestigious pediatric hospitals could offer Sam his best chance possible. Boston soon became the choice and Jacob and Lauren's new home for the next few weeks as Sam makes his entrance to the world.
You see, Sam's case is not typical, severe heart defects that cause his heart to not properly circulate his oxygenated blood to his body.
This is where we can help. Last-minute moving to Boston, Baby Sam's hospital bills for the multiple surgeries he will have to overcome, will soon begin to add up.
The McGaughs need our help! Please consider donating $5, $10, $20, or whatever you feel most comfortable with.
If you can't donate today, please say a short prayer for the health and safety of Lauren and Baby Sam as they welcome him into the world.
