I'm a little over 24 weeks pregnant with my baby boy Gabriel. I was sent down to Cincinnati after a routine ultrasound at my OB office. My spouse, Matt and I, were informed our son has a Bladder Outlet Obstruction that has caused kidney failure and under developed lungs due to lack of amniotic fluid in my sac. To give our son a fighting chance at life we and my 1 year old son Leo had to relocate to Cincinnati to get a port placed for fluid infusions twice a week and a surgery to unblock Gabes urethra.
Thanks to so many caring friends and family members we had enough money to cover the first month of our hotel stay!
Now that we know my maternal laprotomy and Amnio port placement surgery went well we have to remain in Cincinnati for the remainder of the pregnancy for fluid infusions to help give baby Gabe some space to develop his lungs before birth!
The battle is far from over unfortunately, but he has shown how much of a fighter he truly is!
Any donation would go towards our lodging and gas for the remainder of our stay.
We appreciate any and every donation!
