Dear Family, Friends and All Good-Hearted People,

The Potter family is in dire need of your help. Their little ten month old son, Ronan, was involved in a freak accident when a pot of oil caught on fire.  While things could have been much worse, they still resulted in little Ronan getting 3rd degree burns and damage to nearly 20% of his body (mostly his legs and left arm).  He is a brave little trooper and is fighting through, but it is going to be a long and difficult road to recovery, starting with a long hospital stay at the Burn Center in San Jose, and at least two skin graft surgeries.

Ronan’s Dad, Alex, is having to miss a lot of work in order to be by Ronan’s side, while medical expenses are mounting quickly. In addition to trying keep themselves fed and bills paid during this difficult time, they are also having transportation challenges. They live and work in Santa Cruz while Ronan’s medical treatment is 30 miles away in San Jose, and their only car is in desperate need of maintenance to cover the back-and-forth commute safely.
