Baby Roman’s Hydronephrosis Surgery
My friends and new parents, Lauren and Isaiah, recently have experienced some major challenges after the birth of their first baby boy.
Roman Matthew Burkhalter was born with hydronephrosis which required surgery right after his 2-month birthday. Roman spent three days in the Billings hospital recovering from his surgery. From all accounts, he was doing well, so his family headed home. However, once they arrived home, they soon discovered little Roman was running a fever of 100.7; they immediately drove him 45 minutes to the Great Falls emergency room.
After many hours (over 8), they were finally admitted to the pediatric ward; they soon discovered that Roman had a urinary tract infection and tested positive for COVID.
They have a long road ahead of them full of travel, ultrasounds and many other checkups. The mental, physical, emotional, and financial burden on my friends has been overwhelming.
I am asking anyone who would like to help with expenses to donate, the smallest amount helps . I know they would very much appreciate anything.
Thank you all for keeping Roman in your prayers. We all pray for a swift recovery with no residual effects.❤️❤️❤️❤️
