My brother Richie and his girlfriend Abby are expecting their first born “Roman.” Abby’s due date is August 29, 2020, but Roman seems to be in a hurry to come out and meet his parents. Abby started with contraction on week 29.  She is 31 weeks and her water broke on 6/26.  Abby was flown from Ukiah Valley Medical Center to UCSF where she is receiving all the care needed. Roman will be in the best hands once he is here. They are expected to be at UCSF for 6+ weeks. Unfortunately, the distance from Redwood Valley to San Francisco is 130 miles each way. Daily parking at the hospital is $24 (updated). Covid is making the situation harder because the free housing options usually offered to people in their situation is not available. Abby isn’t working, and Richie can’t work and be at the hospital at the same time. I am asking for help with parking, gas, and  a couple week’s wages so Richie can stay in the hospital with Abby and Roman. Thank you so much!
