My name is Molly and I made this gofundme on behalf of my best friend Heather and her family.

A message from Heather:

”Dear friends and family,

I’m writing you to inform you of a tragic accident that happened to my nephew Richie. On Tuesday May 6th he had a tragic accident and has been at Kaiser Pediatric Hospital since. He has been receiving amazing care by the nurses and doctors here but unfortunately due to the extent of trauma he went through his brain will not be able to recover from this and the doctors are recommending to end care for Richie and to let him rest peacefully.

Richie was the happiest, most charming baby and so full of life. He brightened every room he walked into and put a smile on every persons face he encountered. A baby with so much love and so much light gone way too soon.

My family is beyond devastated to hear this news and are not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Richie the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and to say our final goodbyes. Me and my family are asking for help to do just that.

We unfortunately do not have many details and arrangements have not yet been made as this was very unexpected, but we will keep everyone informed. We ask that you keep us in your prayers as we navigate this difficult time without our sweet boy. This has been the hardest thing my family has ever gone through.
