Hello everyone!

Karen, Kendra and I are so honoured to put this fundraiser on for Brittany Simmons and Chris Reading on behalf of all of their friends and family.

Brittany and Chris welcomed their son, Remi Christoper Simmons into the world much earlier than expected at 27 weeks, weighing 1 lb 12 oz and was 31 cm long.

Brittany and Chris are happy to report that baby Remi and mom are doing well, all things considered. But they have a long and unknown road ahead.

Many friends have reached out to see how they could support Brittany, Chris, and their family including their newest addition, Remi during this time which is why we have created this fundraiser.

During Remi's stay in the NICU, which is estimated to be around 3 months long, Brittany will be staying at the mothers hostel in the Regina General Hospital which comes with additional and unexpected expenses. Over the coming months, both Brittany and Chris will be doing lots of travel between home and the NICU. There will be many additional costs incurred including but not limited to Regina accommodations, gas, parking, groceries on the road, and a variety of other potential future expenses.

If you are able, making a contribution to lesson the financial burden during this time will allow Brittany and Chris to focus on their family.
