Hi, my name is Chloe. Me and my partner are expecting a beautiful baby girl in April. Sadly ever since my 8 week midwife appointment problems have arisen.

My blood type is A rhesus negative. Which from 8 weeks has been producing a very high amount of anti D antibodies, attacking our babies red blood cells making her seriously anemic.

As I'm under 28 weeks we’ve been having to travel to London to see Professor Nicholaides as he’s more specialised in the area, with our baby being so small, to give her the blood transfusions.

She’s already needing her 3rd blood transfusion which was booked for the 23rd December but after today’s scan, she is desperately needing one sooner.

However with Christmas around the corner, me not working and Josh working when he can get a shift in around the appointments.. it’s just not affordable for us. But it’s the only way our baby P can get what she needs. We have tried many routes to get help but sadly this is our last resort.

This is something I never wanted to have to do, but I’ll do anything for my baby and she needs a blood transfusion asap.

Ive put the goal as £500, just to cover the remaining London tickets. Once I’m 28 weeks we can get the transfusions done from Leeds which is do able for us.
