Baby Osen's Fight
Donation protected
On June 2, 2023, mamma-to-be Jenn Osen was rushed to the hospital as her water broke and she was having contractions. Later that evening, she was flown out 10 hours away from home to Sioux Falls so her baby could receive the best of the best neonatal care if born early.
On Monday, June 5th, beautiful baby girl Osen was born at 24 weeks gestation, weight 1.45lbs. She is tiny, but mighty and the doctors are hopeful.
Jenn and Thomas are right where they need to be, caring for their sweet girl. As we know, medical care in America is far from free and far from cheap. The NICU is partnering Jenn and Thomas with Ronald McDonald House, but this family needs our support. Baby Osen will be in NICU until at least her due date at the end of September. This is a long journey, with lots of hurtles for the baby and her parents. Specialized NICU care is costly and Jenn and Thomas also have a home to maintain in Williston, North Dakota. The stress of having a medically fragile preemie is tough enough, so we want to ensure they don't have financial distress as well.
Please consider supporting this beautiful family financially and in prayer, as they journey this tough road together. They are SO loved in Canada and the US and we will always fight to ensure they know how loved they are.
