Baby Olivia Needs You

My name is Olivia and my mommy is Brittany Helms Eller. I entered the world prematurely at 30 weeks from my mommy's belly in July. I was first put on a ventilator because I couldn't breathe on my own. The hospital where I was born, did not have the special equipment I needed, so I went on my first helicopter ride to another hospital. The second hospital tried to take me off the ventilator and found my lungs were bleeding, so I went on my second helicopter ride to the third hospital, which is where I am today. The doctors put me on a shaking ventilator (oscillating) and put me on a morphine drip so I wouldn't fight the breathing machine. Then, the doctors found my brain was bleeding and they found a clot in the part of my brain that makes spinal fluid- this caused my brain to swell. A couple of days later, the doctors told my mommy and daddy I had emphysema and had to stay on the shaking ventilator. After what seemed like forever (9 days), my lungs were doing better but my brain was still swelling and I had to have a shunt put in to keep the fluid moving. The doctors have told mommy and daddy that my condition can change at any time. I know this makes them nervous; but, mommy and daddy have a strong faith that God will see our family through this very tough time. I am asking you for your help. My mommy and daddy are missing work to be with me, but something called bills keeps coming. If you can donate any amount of money, I would be very grateful; I know it will help mommy and daddy worry less and be able to keep their focus on me and my big sister.
