This is 8 mth old Baby Oaklyn. My name is Melinda McCulloch, Mimi to 8 mth old Oaklyn and the mother of her 22 y/o Mama Ashlie. Baby Oaklyn contracted COVID about 4 days ago and is not doing well. After a trip to Rady's and a late night ambulance ride to Rancho Springs, Oaklyn still has not received any answers and her health is declining. Unfortunately I believe much of this has to do with the fact that they have no health insurance. Her parents have been in quarantine and this means no paycheck. Her Daddy recently completed his 4 years in the Marine Corp and hasn't been on his new job in HVAC long enough to receive any benefits (sick leave or medical). I have helped them, and continue to, all that I can, but I am also sick with COVID and am a single Mom myself. Both Mama and Daddy also came down with COVID last night after being up all night with baby Oaklyn, so God only knows how long they will be without funds. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. If you know me, I don't ask for handouts easily, but these are my babies and I need them taken care of when I can't.
