On June 18, 2020, our beautiful baby boy decided it was his time to unfold his wings and fly high. He has fought long and hard facing so many different obstacles even before birth. With his strength, he has bravely faced more than most adults in his young 3 years of life.
Baby Noah was a twin born Easter day April 16, 2017 at 31 weeks weighing 15oz and 11inches. Since in utero we have been faced with Drs telling us Noah is not going to make it and trying to push us to terminate his care. Because Noah was a micro preemie his lungs were extremely underdeveloped and he has spent most of his life needing oxygen, additional support, and even surgeries. While Noah was only 9 months we were once again faced with "Noah isn't going to make it" and again given the option to terminate his care. As a mother, that's the hardest decision you'll ever have to make and I chose to continue fighting for him. Once again, Noah overcame this obstacle and proved the "doctors" wrong. At age 2, Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer. Something we all dread to hear and something I never would have imagined in a million years. Once again, Noah continued to fight for his life for the past year, but unfortunately this battle was not won.
We find strength and comfort knowing our sweet Noah is no longer suffering. He is now at peace and has become his family's guardian angel. Unfortunately with this loss comes a financial burden. We are currently asking for donations to cover memorial expenses, as any amount would truly help or even just a simple share.
