My precious sister and her husband In the early morning hours of Friday, September 25th lost their precious baby boy in the womb.
Everything was going great, baby was growing on track, the heartbeat was strong. Due to the coronavirus restrictions, we weren't all able to be there for her the day of her caesarean and later told us they were having a hard time finding the heartbeat.
Doctors and nurses rushed to their side to attempt to retrieve the heartbeat, but the womb remained quiet. Her husband called us in tears to inform us with this devastating news. I didn’t even know how to process it. I am numb. We were preparing for his arrival and never could have imagined this outcome. They took the baby via C-section Friday morning at 8:45am. This is just all too much to process. Our hearts are hurting so much. We want to take their pain away.
I know everyone has been so awesome and supportive and sent them baby gifts, and it was supposed to be such a joyous moment, only to be shattered by the unthinkable.
Now she’s preparing for a funeral. I just can’t even process what is happening here. As their family we wanted to set up this fundraiser for their unimaginable expenses.
This is the last thing I want the parents to worry about. If we can help them in anyway that we can this will make one less burden on this poor family who already had to endure so much.
