UPDATE: It's with a very heavy heart that I'm sharing baby Zen's life here will be cut short. As some of you have seen in Britts posts the cath procedure ended up in cardiac arrest. He was revived, but the outlook is grim. Thank you all for donations so far. This sweet family will now need more help in preparations for services and medical bills thus far. Always praying for a miracle, those prayers are still very much welcomed and appreciated.

Hi my Name is Johanna and I'm a close friend of Brittany. She and her fiancée Andrew are expecting a baby boy. Recently, a little over 20weeks pregnant, they received the heartbreaking news that their bundle of joy has a multitude of heart defects amongst a few other things. Unfortunately, he will need immediate heart surgery @ UCSF right after birth. He will need an additional two more surgeries before the age of 3 and more than likely will still need a heart transplant. As you'd expect they're devastated by the news and doing their best to stay positive. Brittany has been put on leave from work and Andrew now is the sole income during this time. They recently purchased a new home, so this is quite a strain on the family. They are also anticipating spending much of their time after birth at UCSF. Any donations will be extremely helpful for them as it will pay for family expenses, travel to and from hospital, medical co pays and child care for her other two boys. Thank you all!!
