As Many of you may know our almost 7 month old baby Myla, was born with pulmonary sequestration, (a mass in her left diaphragm). She has had lots of tests and a unsuccessful surgery in Lubbock do to the complexity of her case. The Lbk doctors have sent us to Cooks Childrens Hospital in Fort Worth, to be with a specialized team better equipped to handle Mylas case. We recently had our appointment with the Surgeon at Cooks and he wants to get Myla in as soon as possible, within the next 5 weeks. He said the mass will be easier to get out while she is little do to her tissue and ligaments being softer and her bones being more pliable. Baby MyMy is the sweetest thing.  She is a mommy’s girl for sure! She loves play time with her big sister Lilo. She has some of the most profound expressions and definitely let’s you know what she’s thinking. She army crawls everywhere. Her laugh and smile is so contagious it will melt the coldest of cold hearts. (Daddy’s words) This snuck up on us, we thought we had quite a bit longer to prepare. We are expected to be in Fort Worth for at least a week if everything goes smoothly. We know times aren’t the easiest right now for most of us. With that being said, if you feel in your heart to help with medical expenses we would be beyond grateful. Most of all we are asking for your prayers for our little girl.
