hello friends and family as most of you know.

Amelia and Jordan’s 2-month-old baby, Matteo, has had some health concerns since birth.

He was showing signs of belly breathing and symptoms that brought big concerns to the Mailand family on starting Saturday, but they were quickly turned away and no testing was done during doctor visit on Tuesday by the doctor after calling and talking to him Monday-Wednesday. Thankfully, Amelia decided to take him to the ER anyways, they were quickly sent to Green Bay due to the baby's condition.

He ended up having pneumonia and rhinovirus; they also detected mycoplasma. Matteo has been on and off oxygen due to his breathing (coughing, gagging, choking and low levels). He’s been on a feeding tube since Friday. They attempted oral feeding, and he got very tired, and his breathing started to give some troubles. He gets treatments and mucus suctions daily. He is fighting hard and trying to get home, but unfortunately, there’s no going home date in sight.

With being in the hospital for over a week now and having no home date, they are in need of some financial help to help pay medical bills, buy an Owlet sock, and pay bills for the rest of December. I am hoping we can come in as a community and help them fight this battle for baby Matteo.
