Hi all! My name is Nancy and I am fundraising for my nephew, my sisters newborn son Mateo. Sweet little Mateo was born with Dexter-Transposition of the great arteries which is a birth defect of the heart in which the two main arteries carrying blood out of the heart - are switched in position. Mateo underwent open heart surgery this past week and the surgery was successful. He is now on the road for recovery for the next two months thanks to the professional team of doctors at the Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera County. For any loved ones that want to help out my sister and her family with medical costs, during their stay at the NICU while my nephew recovers from open heart surgery, our family will be forever grateful for all the help and support.
