Baby Maggie's Medical and Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Our family unexpectedly lost little Maggie on Saturday, March 6th, 2021. While this loss is overwhelmingly heartbreaking, it also comes with unanticipated medical and funeral expenses and lost time at work which adds additional issues during an already difficult time. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

Timmy and Catherine would never ask for help, but we're setting this up for them. All donations will go directly to Tim and Catherine. Feel free to reach out to me (Jess Lerner, Timmy's sister) if you have questions.

Without any expectation or explanation, our dear sweet Maggie passed away yesterday. We are devastated to say the least. I wrote the following in her honor...

We will see you again, Maggie. Thank you for your cuddles, the laughs you brought us, and for persistently demanding to be held any time your Dad (myself) was in the room. Thank you for the little smile you gave me when you first heard my voice and saw me walk over to you after you were born. Thank you for being a total cuddly little girl, and inspiring your sister to do more of that.

Thank you for being such a gentle little soul. Thank you for this month.

Thank you for teaching us about hope, about peace, and about truly knowing the strength of the eternal hope that God has given us. We are groaning and weeping here but we know this is not the end.

We know, we believe, and we hope beyond hope we will see you again. Daddy and Mommy love you sweet girl. We will see you again. Enjoy the glory God has for you. We will miss you deeply, but we trust that somehow through all of the feelings that might tell us it’s not possible, that God will work something good from this. We know you probably don’t know what happened yet either, but when you’re old enough and He tells you, don’t worry for us. We will press on.

It isn’t over. We’re just in different places Mags. Enjoy the place God has you. Enjoy your rest. Enjoy your playtime, and your studies and all the things Jesus and all of the other friends and family and angels above will teach you as you grow. When the time is right, we will meet you again.

We love you baby. Daddy, Mommy, and your sister Audie love you so much. Our hearts are broken, but we trust they will mend. We don’t know how. But patiently, we will trust and lean on hope and the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father. We don’t know how or when He’s going to come through, but we believe He will.

Until we meet again...

Romans 8:18-25
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.
23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience
