Madison was admitted to Johns Hopkins Pediatric ICU on December 15th at 3 weeks old. After days of critical testing and care, she was diagnosed with Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome (CNS). CNS is an extremely rare condition that will require a kidney transplant. Currently, Madison is on permanent dialysis and life support (ECMO machine) to help her gain strength.

Madison will continue to be a patient at Johns Hopkins for months, as she must reach her goal weight of 22lbs to become eligible for a transplant. Funds donated will be used for Madison's continued critical care while at Johns Hopkins Pediatric ICU.
