Baby Lorenzo was born on January 31st, 2024 via a C-Section. Pregnancy complications were evident in the third trimester that caused Lorenzo to stop growing in utero. After being released from the hospital a few days after birth, Lorenzo experienced complete inability to eat and was not taking in any calories for the next few days. He was admitted to the hospital where he stayed for an extended period of time. Lorenzo was released on March 5th, but is now only eating via a feeding tube.

This is a very hard, expensive, emotionally taxing experience for first time parents and premie baby. To support Lorenzo in the fullest and help him thrive, there needs to be a nurse to help with each of his feedings so that he can progress appropriately. Unfortunately, outpatient supports are extremely expensive and what is covered by insurance isn’t readily available. Please consider helping Lorenzo and family to get the necessary support they need. We love this little boy so much and want him to have a village of the best supports.
