Baby Lincoln's Medical Expenses

Hi there! My name is Ceara, and I'm asking for your help because my sweet friends never would.

On January 24th, 2023, Jordan and Makayla Steele welcomed baby Lincoln to the world. He's their third child and the first boy in the family.

During his delivery, Lincoln swallowed a large amount of amniotic fluid and stool. The stress of the experience caused a puncture in his lung, resulting in a pneumothorax (a collapsed lung), and doctors decided he would need to be intubated so he could breathe.

A chest tube was inserted to relieve the pressure on his heart, and the doctors discovered that he has a cleft palate (he is missing part of the roof of his mouth) just like his big sister did.

Once Linc was stable, he was LifeFlighted to Primary Children’s, where he has been staying since. His breathing is improving every day, and they are hoping to improve his feeding so they can take him home.

The nurses at Primary Children's love him, and he has a reputation at the NICU as a fighter. He's so strong that most of the time 2 nurses are required to do any procedure!

I created this page to help my sweet friends with their medical bills. They are always serving others with their photography and videography business, Jordan's work as a mental health advocate for those who suffer severe depression, and Makayla's all-around willingness to help anyone she sees. They would never ask for help themselves (usually they're the ones offering to others), and I would love to shower them with support.
