Hi, we are Frank and Christine Blossom. Our baby Lilianna is due December 17th. Unfortunately, she has had many complications. She has what the doctor's believe to be a dysplastic kidney disease. Resulting in her having no amniotic fluid since she was 23 weeks along. Due to this complication her lungs are not fully developed and she is at constant risk of crushing her umbilical cord. For this reason we have been in hospital housing since October for monitoring. We have been unable to work and will not likely be able to return after her birth. They will be inducing delivery on November 29th. After she is born and stabilized she will need to be life-flighted to Seattle. She will need to be on a ventilator for an undetermined amount of time and need dialysis (which AK does not have for babies). Eventually she will need a kidney transplant. We are in need of financial assistance. There has been and will continue to be a great deal of traveling, meals and bills to pay. Possibly even lodging in Seattle if their is no hospital housing available at the time. We also have to provide transportation for family to come help us with our children at home (from across the country). Due to COVID restrictions and school requirements they are not able to be with us. This is going to be a long hard road for us and our family. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
