Hello family and friends! This is Copa and Pa and we are creating this fundraiser to support our spiritual children Chia and Vang Shoua Her and their baby son Leon, born three and a half months ago. As some of you have been following us in our personal Facebook page, our spiritual grandbaby Leon Ntxawg Her was born back in March with several congenital heart issues. At just a few hours old he had his first heart surgery. His conditions included Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), and Pulmonary Atria--all medical terms we don't understand and conditions we pray our children will never have. The doctors didn't expect him to live this long, but he is a fighter and has been surprising everyone. Leon is now three and a half months old, off the ECMO machine and all the other meds, because they are no longer helping him. The doctors are just keeping him comfortable now until Jesus heals him or takes him home. Until then, each day at the ICU adds more money to his medical bill, which his mom and dad will have to pay. So in addition to all the prayers we've been asking you to pray, we are also asking you to give financially, if you can. Yes, we understand that many are under much financial stress (we are too since I got laid off) so if prayers and a word of encouragement is all you can offer, we still appreciate that. (Please continue to pray for the doctors and nurses who are still helping Leon, faith and strength for his mom and dad as they wait for God's plan to unveil for their son, but most of all, pray that little Leon will remain strong until he comes home with this mom and dad or go home with Jesus.)
