Donation for Baby Leo

It is with a heavy heart to say that we lost our baby boy, Leo J Lamar Houston. He was born 3 months early on August 26, 2019 at 11:40pm and was immediately taken by NICU. He was only 1 pound 4.5 oz. 11.6 inches long. He had to be placed in an incubator, hooked up on a breathing machine, and given multiple medications. On August 28, nurses said we needed to go to down to NICU. It was urgent. Leo’s doctor told us that they have been doing everything they can, but he was suffering more. Leo had already lost a lot of blood, even after given 2 blood transfusions. It was time to hold him and spend as much time with him. That’s exactly what we did. He passed away in my arms a few hours later. Leo was perfect in every way with all 10 toes and fingers, everything we could ever dream of and so much more. He took a little piece of all of us when he left but made our lives so much better by being here. Leo brought our closest friends and family together and he was showered with so much love. 


Gregory and I are extremely grateful for the love, support, and prayers. This has been a true test for us both, we are heartbroken that we lost our son but I am hopeful we’ll get through this. Any donation helps and will go towards Baby Leo’s funeral expenses.
