Hi All! I recently rescued little Lars from a police impound lot where he and his mommy and siblings were living. All of his littermates were rescued several weeks before Lars who kept eluding me. When I finally got him his infected left eye had ruptured. He was immediately taken to an emergency clinic where it was decided that he should receive pain medication and antibiotics and was referred to an ophthalmologist. That appointment was last week and it was confirmed that his eye would need removal for the very best outcome for him . It is scheduled for August 21 and the estimate is for $1783. His ER visit and ophthalmology consult totaled $529. I am hoping to raise $2300. In spite of the fact that this little guy had never interacted with a human and he had to be in so much pain he has been an amazing little boy!! He is friendly and playful and adorable!! He can't interact with other cats at this point because his ruptured eye has not completely sealed off and we don't want it to become injured further. He plays sweetly by himself and gazes in at the other kitties. Once his eye is removed and healed he will get to have kitty friends! Please help me make this happen for him!!
