After 9 years, my wife and I got the greatest news we can pray for. A baby brother for our 9 year old daughter, Lana. Our baby boy, Landon, was born premature on December 1, 2018 via emergency C-section. He was born at 28 weeks, weighing 2 lb. 1oz.
The doctors and nurses that worked on Landon called him a "miracle baby". A minute later and we would not have had Landon. He was our little miracle. Our little fighter. And fight he did. After 9 weeks in the NICU, he came home to us. A true miracle. Landon was PERFECT.
Since birth and everyday after, his STRONG, AMAZING, and LOVING mother Bianca was at his side. Her little "Bubby". He was loved on by everyone that met him, his parents, sister, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially his granny and his "manny". Landon touched hearts.
Our faith tells me that God could have taken Landon on December 1, but our love made God wait. April 22 was Landon's first stroll in the park enjoying a beautiful Chicagoland spring day. Unfortunately, this would be Landon's last joy for us. We laid him down for bed and when we woke the next day, our little miracle did not. Thank you God for the time you did give us. We are truly blessed to have had him in our life.
Today, we are in a bad financial position because of the mounting medical bills due to his 2-month NICU stay and post appointments and care.We are seeking help to give our Baby Landon a proper wake and burial. Thank you for taking time to read this and I appreciate all that you do.
Wake/funeral arrangements will be posted soon.
All monies will go to Landon's burial, any monies left over will be used by the family to restart our upside down life.
