Baby Laila's battle with Botulism
Hi. My name is Mel and I'm hoping you will help me to support my brother Dan, his partner Renee & their family of 3 beautiful girls.
Local to Redcliffs, Victoria. Dan & Renee were dealt a horrific blow last week when their 5 month old baby Laila became gravely ill and was admitted to Mildura base hospital ICU.
Once flown to Melbourne royal children's Hospital baby Laila was diagnosed with infant Botulism. This would see her little body temporarily paralyzed and unable to breath on her own.
After receiving life saving medication Laila will need to stay at the royal children's in melbourne for a minimum of 6 months until her nervous system recovers and she relearns how to move and function on her own.
Dan has had to put his business on hold meaning he has no income while caring for Laila in Melbourne. While some things are subsidised by RMH Dan and Renee still need to cover the balance for accommodation and carparking etc.. they still need to support their other twin girls at home with their grandparents too.
If you can't afford to donate right now could you please share the link with your friends and family.
Dan & Renee appreciate all of your kind thoughts and donations, as do I.
Let's help make Laila's battle a little bit easier for Dan & Renee by easing their financial stress.
Thank you very much.
Your support means the world to me. ❤️
