Hi everyone,
 
 As many of you may know, my brother and his wife, Daniel and Jordan, welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Kit Amelia Runcorn, into the world on July 16th. Immediately they saw her struggle to breathe as she turned blue. She was taken to the NICU right away, as dad followed her, and mom just having delivered was separated for the first 24 hours. Since then, they’ve been able to hold her only a couple times, while she’s been sedated on a ventilator, feeding tube, antibiotics, and lots of other things until she improves.

She has swelling and inflammation in her throat and is still struggling to breathe, but they don’t have very many answers yet. They are being transferred to Kansas City today to be seen by a specialist and potentially have an ENT scope done, as there is not a specialist here at Mercy or Cox.

As you can imagine with any NICU stay and being airlifted in a helicopter to transfer, this is going to be a substantial financial burden on them, even after insurance. This is the last thing they’re worrying about right now, but we want to help lift this burden a little and provide some relief if we can. Please prayerfully consider giving anything if you’re able to or share this if you can. If nothing else, we covet your continued prayers for them and we sincerely thank you!

We know God doesn’t cause these things to happen. As the world is coming at them, Christ is working in them. He’s the only one who can truly give them strength, hope, comfort, and is holding them each day through it all. We thank Him for the gift of baby Kit’s precious life! ❤️
