Baby Kice

Hi My name is Jocelyn and I am fundraising for my cousins in the Philippines.

Ruth & Gian have 2 boys & wished for a princess.

Their dream came true when Kice was born on the 17th of November 2022.

However, their dream was shattered when Kice became unwell few days after she was born.

She was diagnosed with SSSS (Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome) rare condition caused by skin bacteria (Staph Aureus) that find itself in her bloodstream . This causes life threatening septicaemia & organ failure on immunosuppressed like a newborn.

Due to limited funds & delayed diagnosis ,

Kice ended up in NICU .

She is now now being managed & getting specialised care.

Having my Dad recently discharged from hospital in the Philippines, I understand how expensive medical treatment is & a patient’s survival depends on their financial status . We are very lucky here, and never take that for granted.

Gian is the sole bread winner of the family.

Even with our families help, their savings were exhausted on Ruth's emergency caesarean.

To my friends & family who are in a position to help ,

I am asking you to open your heart and dig deep to help my cousins & their baby.

Their only wish is to hug baby Kice & take her home for Christmas, to be reunited with her brothers.
