Baby Keshutik's bone centralisation and lengthening surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Faith Obaseki, and I am fundraising for baby Keshutik in the above picture. Baby Keshutik was born August 12, 2023, through caesarean section with a condition called tibia hemimelia type 2.
The parents were informed by the doctor that the child is disabled, and this was and was an extreme blow to the parents regarding their second child.
This condition prevents the child from crawling walking and standing. Baby Keshutik is not one yet and his first birthday will be on the 12th of August 2024.
Doctors and specialist from Gwagwalada specialist hospital Abuja, advised the parents of baby Keshutik that for him to walk and stand he must undergo the following surgeries
Doctors and specialists from Gwagwalada hospital advised and to do it urgently as it is the only way to correct his bone structure.
The first surgery is called fibula-pro-tibia and bone centralisation, and the second surgery is bone lengthen.
Baby Keshutik has been going every two weeks for medical treatment in the hospital since the 15 August, 2023 (since he was born) and this has been a challenge for his parents as they have sold all their assets for his medical bills and as a result his parents are struggling emotionally, and financially as they do not have the funds for his surgery which is the only way Keshutik’s leg can be corrected.
The hospital where Keshutik’s surgery will be done is University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada,Hospital number 119-72-98 and condition is Tibia hemimelia type 2.
I am appealing for the funds for the fibula-pro-tibia, bone centralization and T bone lengthen surgery, other medications, and post-surgery upkeep.
Thank you to every one that would donate to the surgery of baby Keshutik, I really appreciate all your support so that he can crawl, stand and walk.
