Baby Jory's doctor bill

No one likes to see your child suffering.
I don't either, and the worst thing is when you don't know how to help your child. Tom and Summer have tried many things, but still haven't found a way to help their son, Jory. Jory used to be a super happy boy. He loved to play with, and smile at, little children who are the same age as him. But this January, they found out he was acting weird and then very soon they knew something was wrong.
He has been having seizures since he was 13 months old. They have been in and out of local hospitals a lot, and have done a short EEG, an MRI, and a 23hr EEG. Also, they have started three different kinds of anti-seizure medications since January, which have never worked for him, and the neurologist is recommending starting a fourth. He still has dozens of seizures a day. When they were at the hospital for his 23hr EEG, they found out he had at least 13 seizures in only 3 hours, and the medications have left him with several of their side-effects.
They really hate to give him medication because he gets super tired, has lost much of his appetite, is frustrated by his twitching and shaking hands, and the worst thing is he doesn't smile as much as he used to.
Tom and Summer were planning to go to CA for Jory's doctor, but things got changed. The insurance company won't pay for any doctors outside of UT. It will cost too many thousands of dollars to get treated there. All the donations will go to Jory's previous and future medical cost, for things like medications and tests.
Tom has 4 years of education to go, and Summer has had to quit one of her part-time jobs to stay at home to take care of Jory more. With very little income and Jory's circumstances, they are going to have a huge financial burden. We humbly ask for a hand and appreciate all your love, care, and help for them. Every penny means a lot to bring back the smile and quality of life of their precious son.
