Baby Jade’s Second Fight
This is Jade Lucille Wilson. She is just shy of 2 years old. Jade has gone through what no child should. At only 9 months old Jade was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma. Jade received months of chemo, in and out of the hospital, and countless doctors visits. She was finally on her road to remission and to resume a normal childhood.
As of April, Jade had been battling different infections, viral and bacterial. April 4th her mother Danielle noticed a rash and suspected Hand Foot Mouth (HFM). The next day the rash appeared to have spread rapidly and Jade was then unable to walk or bear weight to her right leg. After consulting with the pediatrician they all agreed to go to the ER.
Jade ended up at Texas Children’sHospital once again. Jade has now been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Her and her family face yet again another financial and emotional hardship.
Shane Wilson, Jade’s father, is a DPS officer who sacrifices his life everyday for our safety. Danielle isa registered nurse who has put her career on hold in order to properly care for Jade. They are now expecting their second child in October. This was a shock to Jades family and to the physicians. Please keep them all in your prayers and assist in anyway you can. No child or family should ever have to go through this
