Baby Jace Cancer Treatment

Baby Jace Fremow was born on 7/28/19. His parents noticed that he wasn’t really moving his legs and decided to take him to the doctor. It was at that doctors appointment that a very rare, large cancerous tumor was found on his lower spine. Surgery was required to remove the tumor. Here is the post-surgery update from his parents:

Baby Jace Update: the neurosurgeon was able to remove all of his cancerous tumor as verified by a repeat MRI this morning. So that’s wonderful! Yet on the other hand, Jace will need chemotherapy. It will be inpatient and VERY extensive. He has a very rare form of malignant cancer but we are hoping that it can be cured. We will be inpatient for a MINIMUM of three months but Jacob and I are ready to tackle this. We have to wait to start chemo until he’s healed from his surgery SO once he’s discharged from the neurosurgeons care, we can head home and wait to begin chemo. In those few days/couple weeks we are home, we would love friends and family to come visit! Once we begin chemo, we request no visitors. But we will keep everyone updated on this long journey ahead and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the continued support.
