Honouring baby Harli

My brother Dane and his girlfriend Jo recently welcomed to the world their gorgeous baby girl Harli, who was born at a very young 29 weeks.

Despite being a tiny fighter from the start, her neonatal team have advised that Harli will not survive the next few days.

Harli is Dane and Jo's first child, and the devastating reality is that they will never bring her home. It is news I wish they never had to receive.

Because Harli was unwell in the final weeks of Jo's pregnancy, Jo had to cease work, and she and Dane have been surviving off one income. On top of childbirth, recovery, and everyday living expenses, these first-time parents have to prepare for the passing and funeral of their baby girl.

I am hoping we can ease their financial burden and allow them time off to process their grief.
