Hi family and friends! On December 22nd, baby Grayson Baker made an early arrival and was born in Quesnel BC. Coming in at 25 weeks was not quite part of the plan but he is healthy and strong. Andrea and Brandon are currently watching baby Gray grow in the best care at the Victoria NICU. Born at a weight of 1lb 15oz, little Grayson is healthy for his size. He has a great chance at coming home healthy but the road home is going to be long. This situation is heartbreaking for those who know what this poor family has already been through. They have two little girls at home in Quesnel and a few little pets as well. Andrea will need to stay in Victoria for 6-14 weeks in total, while Brandon must go home to work and care for the rest of the family. This time will be emotionally and financially challenging for all. I thought it would be nice as family and friends to come together and support the Baker family if you have any ability to. Andrea is currently waiting to find temporary housing where she can stay near baby Gray. While the costs are not crazy expensive they certainly add up quick.
