I am Nici, Shelby's aunt, and have set this GoFundMe up to assist Shelby and Cait as they travel through this journey with their heart warrior, Baby Graham. Graham was born on February 20, 2024, and they quickly learned that something was not right. After being transported from Pittsburg to Joplin, and then by med flight onto Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, tests showed that Graham was born with Tetralogy of Fallot. He has already underwent one operation to place a stint in his heart. Additional procedures will be necessary as he grows. Graham had been on ECMO and a ventilator. Those were removed and he was progressing well, when unfortunately had a setback where they called a code and had to resuscitate him on March 13th. He was placed back on ECMO to help his body recover and rest better. He is currently stable and his medical team is discussing moving forward with his next big procedure. If you feel led, any funds contributed will go straight to Shelby and Cait to help with any medical bills, the expenses they are encountering with being 2 hours away from home, or even to just go get a coffee or snack. We have a great family support system, but no one can prepare for something like this.
